First Presbyterian Church of Richmond, California, is a historic yet well-maintained property situated on a major street in Richmond. The U-shaped building features the sanctuary on the east side, the meeting hall and offices on the west, and classrooms in between.

The sanctuary, spanning 4,200 square feet, is designed in a traditional church style with a wide central aisle and smaller side aisles, making it a popular choice for weddings. It features pew seating for over 400 attendees, a recently upgraded sound system, three mounted screens, and a built-in pipe organ at the upper chancel area. The sanctuary is accessible from the parking lot and the street through the narthex, an adjoining space at the entrance.

Sanford Hall, offering 2,200 square feet of versatile space, includes a large kitchen, a smaller kitchen, and accommodations for over 120 people seated at tables—or more without tables. This hall is equipped with a large video screen, making it ideal for meetings and events.

Additional spaces include the Fireside Room, a comfortable 750-square-foot meeting space, a nursery, and several classrooms. While approximately 80% of the church is wheelchair accessible, certain areas—such as the Chancel, music room, and offices—require stair access. Two of the three restroom sets are wheelchair accessible.
